new holley carb

So i finally got fed up with the qjet that was giving me nightmares and traded it back in for a holley! But i noticed that it didnt come with a fuel filter. So other than ordering one directly from holley, would anyother inline filter work? I saw some after market inlines...Not sure if there is a difference in them. I know oriellys has them...but i refuse to deal with them anymore (long story).
thanx

Re: new holley carb

jegs or summit has some billet aluminum ones. they're small, have removeable screens, and best of all cheap.

Re: new holley carb

Paper element before the carb. At least 10-20 microns. Any less will allow fine sediment past.
