frame swap question

anyone have info for putting a 69 swb body on a 79 swb frame im new here so please be kind thanx

A few guys have done it on 4x4 conversions but I haven't seen anyone do 2x4 swaps. From what I remember, the frame & crossmembers interfere w/stuff under the cab. For the 4x4 crowd, they use a 3" body lift to get around the issue.

Maybe we can help some other way. Why are you looking to swap?

my 69 frame is bent and i have an excellent 79 frame wit all new braking system, any help or ideas would be great just finished my 70 ss monte need something to do in my spare time lol
