i have an 81 inline 6 with 3 speed manual trans.we was wanting to put in an overdrive trans in truck while we r rebuilding it.trying to figure out to put in a manual or auto.i know we could put in a 700r or 200r but what would a good manual trans be for it.we r going to put in a 350 v8 while we got it apart (1986) block

I think I would go for the old dependable TBI 350 backed by a 700r4.
