Crusin' and Car Show
I had the pleasure to meet up with 'Erik D' today and check out the "Silver Bullet"....It is an AMAZING ride......check out his build thread here...http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=282815
He's a very cool cat...and I think it hit him today what a B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L truck he has....(check out the pic with all te guys in AWE looking at that engine!!!)...it was like that ALL afternoon....my poor truck in the background was looking over there shoulders) Here are some pics I took of it today when we met, then we rode over to downtown Mooresville for a car show we heard about!!!....I was scared to park beside this thing of beauty, but what the heck!!!.... Enjoy the pics...

Re: Crusin' and Car Show
Again...Sweet truck! I hope he doesn't take this as criticism because it's not... Get some mid length headers on that thing! When those pipes are on the pavement, pressure is being put in places where he probably doesn't want it. It's just a matter of time before something is going to break.

Re: Crusin' and Car Show
Great pic geoff. You don't have a thing to be ashamed of,I've seen your truck in person. That "Silver Bullet" is one nice ride too.The car appears to be a 55 or so Buick or Olds. It's a bit hard to tell with the custom work.

Re: Crusin' and Car Show
Have you made it back yet! Is he ever on here. What did he move from Texas to NC. Does he have any info he can post on the truck. Did he do the work or have it done you know. Get him on here and tell us all about it.

Re: Crusin' and Car Show
Wow Geoff. Silver is not my thing but it's a real nice truck. Yours however is a real looker. I do like that shade and those rallys. You both can be real proud of yours.

Re: Crusin' and Car Show
I missed the link completely, I wonder if that's Chips old place on Hwy 150. Chips Rod shop. I finished school there in Denver of the East...Go Mustangs!!! I know I know. There wasn't much in the denver area when I moved to SC back in 82. The Nascar shops brought a lot of stuff up into that area. It almost to the point it's part of Charlotte now. The new 4 lane 16 is nice though. If you get a chance go by midtown at old 16 and 73 intercetion and try there wings they have some of the best around.
