My weekend score... what did you get?
I scored a buddy bucket frame, and buddy center console seat, just wishing the buckets would have been our truck seats and not modified car seats. Oh well, could not pass up the deal.

Re: My weekend score... what did you get?
I got light bulbs for my dash, a new water pump, and a carb kit form the local OReilly-advance-zone.
1. Water pump installed 2. Carb kit was wrong, but used what I needed out of it (power piston spring) 3. Got some of my dash lights working, but not all of them...still got to figure that one out.

Re: My weekend score... what did you get?
Scored a '69 2wd parts truck, Well 1/2 of one. A friend was given the truck, He wanted the V-8 out of it, the orig owner wanted a trailer made from the bed and rear section of the frame. So, I get the cab, front clip, SM465 trans and what remains of the frame.
I came out good though... I just have to haul it off... It has: 1) Good windshield (no fogged edges) 2) complete P/S set up (gear box/hoses/pump/brackets) 3) V-8 Manifolds 4) another no-shifter column 5) 2 - Decent Doors 6) Working AM Radio Yeah, me!!!

Re: My weekend score... what did you get?
I took my white 71 step-side to a car & truck show here in the town where I live. I forgot to take my camera, but there were about six 67-72 model trucks there. The best part was that I saw the man that sold me my truck. I had not heard from him in over nine years. It was great catching up with him. He must have taken 20 pics of what all I had done to his old truck.
Although the show did not end until 3, I ditched it around 1 to go sand on and do paint work on the 71 fleetside. I got the hood and cowl finished and the cab, minus the doors, is completely painted inside and out! With any luck (fingers crossed!) all paint work should be done by Friday and looking like a truck again. Woo hoo!

Re: My weekend score... what did you get?
I traded a 400 small block and a $150 for a mild 327 with low miles and the pink slip to the 68 GMC in my sig. This is the luckiest I have been in a long time.

Re: My weekend score... what did you get?
I had a great time. The motorcycle forum I'm on had a meet and greet in livingston. Had about 30 of us from texas, new mexico and louisiana.
I had a piece of foam sitting on the frame. Click my photobucket link and find the group ride album. Some pictures in there that I took.

Re: My weekend score... what did you get?
Last weekend I picked up a driver front fender that's in great shape and a chrome front bumper, $120 total. Also picked up a good condition heater control unit (since the PO put screws thru mine) for $12.
I was happy with those items.
