Re: speedometer gears

Art,

The different speedo gears are designated by the color of the gear, Remove the gear and take it with you to get a replacement. We all know how these punk kids can be in these chain parts stores....

Re: speedometer gears

Use this calculator to find your ratio. Look for a combo closest to a whole number.

Re: speedometer gears

#1 You won't find the gears at any auto parts store.
#2 Any reputable auto tranny shop should be able to help you out.
#3 Check out this websight http://www.transmissioncenter.net/sp...n_______va.htm
to find out what speedo gears you need

Re: speedometer gears

I just went to my local dealer and they were able to get me a gear for my Turbo 350. I brought in the part number I needed, and when I first told the parts guy what I wanted he began to tell me they weren't made anymore, but he punched the number in and they were able to have it for me the next day. You gotta have the part number, or else you won't get anywhere.
