1983 chevy custom steering column - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

All, i haven't had the pleasure of installing a steering column.
? Can someone please advise/instuct on how to remove and install a steering column.

remove the steering shaft
take the linkage off
remove the 2 nuts at the bottom of the column on the engine side remove the bolts from the firewall on the inside
unplug the connections
remove the 2 nuts from the dash
pull the column out
