what tire size is stock on c/20?

i need new tires for my c/20, and am wondering what tire size to get in "today's sizes". current wheels are 9.5LT16.5 bias ply junk, and the new rims i just got today are from 99 4x4 suburban 2500 3/4 ton truck, with LT265/75/R16, but seem a bit large for my truck. any advice on sizes, or a good online tire chart? need to know what tire height to use...

Re: what tire size is stock on c/20?

I have LT245/75/16 tires on my 72 3/4t 2wd and I think they are a good fit. I am at work now, but can add a pic later

Re: what tire size is stock on c/20?

I went from the farm wheels (original equipment) to some 17"ers that I found along with 285/70-17 tires. Big improvement in looks and traction. I also reduced the diameter a little to help with gearing, while the big width actually increased the contact patch.
