Paint Color Inside Instrument Housing?
Is there any technical reason the insides of my instrument cluster housing is painted light green? Did GM just get a good deal on the paint or what??
Anybody know if it is important or can I use white or maybe silver? |

green is a soft color and is easy on the eyes. Pretty much everything back then had that gay lookin paint in there.
You can paint it all white, and that'll brighten up the light quite a bit. |

I painted the inside of my cluster white and it made a great difference.
