The bracket works great. Check with www.summitracing.com. I think they have the lowest price for it. Check the end of my cable too. I have finite adjustment too.

Re: edelbrock throttle valve corrector

I'm using Edelbrocks bracket. I had it modified. I had it machined about 1/4" taller. The RPM Air Gap intake is very tall. The bracket aligns the carb and bracket very nicely.

Re: edelbrock throttle valve corrector

well i got them to day the bracket works great.
he TV cable corrector the throttlestuds diamter is to big so you need to drill out the hole in the carbs throttle arm. i was just going to use theold one but it is not long enugh. other then that works fine the summet one uses one of the carb bolts to bolt it down and then has sliding adjusters for the throttle and TV cable.

one question i have though what way does the button the the TV cable have to face? or is it keyed?

Re: edelbrock throttle valve corrector

I made a bracket that mounted to the back bolt on the carb's driver's side. To keep it from moving when you accelerated, I welded a pin on it to sit down into the other hole on the carb mounting foot. This bracket has the square hole for the throttle cable and the TV cable from the tranny cut into it, so that I could mount them just like the factory unit. It will not matter how tall the intake is, because this bracket will move with the carb. I used the measurements that would be required to mount each cable to make things fit right. Once I had the right measurements, we tig welded everything and then powder coated the bracket. It is small and smooth with no sliding brackets or screws sticking out of it.
