Front End Swap - '85-'87 onto a 1980 Silverado.

Hey, I realize that in order to swap a newer headlight/grill assembly onto my '80, an entire front clip of parts will be required, all the way down to the wiper components and wiring harnesses. I am looking to see if anyone can provide me with, or point me in the direction of, a complete parts list for my particular swap. Any pics/tips would also be helpful. Thanks.

Here you go. It has a parts list and everything. I used some of the info when I completed my 81 to 89-91 front clip swap.

Thanks 81BLAZE... I've checked that page out some, but what I'm starting with and what you started with are different. You went from an '81 to a post-'87. I have a pre-81 looking to swap on an '85-'87, in particular. I am not sure that I'd need all those '88-up parts if I'm swapping on an '85-87...would I?

Re: Front End Swap - '85-'87 onto a 1980 Silverado.

If you read closely his Blazer is a 78. He did the cowl and wiper swap also. The only difference between the 89-91 and the 81-87 swap is the style of grille and lights.

Look just past halfway down the page and he addresses the cowl and wiper issues.
My 81 didnt need ay of the mods mentioned. Good luck
