Brake booster gold cadmium plating
Anyone know a source for gold cadmium plating for my brake booster? Sent it to a booster rebuild shop in Oregon twice with unsatisfactory results. First time plating was chipping. Second time the job hazed within a year. I'd even go for a OE unit if you know a source for that.

Re: Brake booster gold cadmium plating
You might try Karp's. I've never used them, but did talk to them at one time about rebuilding a booster for a 63 Starfire. Seem very knowledgable and professional.

Re: Brake booster gold cadmium plating
Eastwood company has a kit you can do yourself if you are handy, a little pricey but looks like you could do a few boosters. split the cost with a buddy even? i havent used this but i know eastwood has some good stuff.
