Re: 62 burb 4x4
More information would be good, but why would you want to convert it to a 2wd? They are worth more as a factory 4x4, if the running gear is original, complete and operational.

Re: 62 burb 4x4
Tony's right, it's worth more as a 4X4. It looks to be in pretty good shape.....has a 5 speed huh? That's not original, but would be nice. Value kinda depends on the overall condition of everything. I'd say a minimum of $1500

Re: 62 burb 4x4
IMO, that 63 is very overpriced for a questionable drivetrain.
That 'burban sounds pretty cool.... I'd def. check it out. |

Re: 62 burb 4x4
if i were to get the burb would it be a bad idea to change the tranny to automatic(i have 2 here collectin dust) or just learn standard all over again.

Re: 62 burb 4x4
Put whatever you want in it. I had a 4 speed in my 61 4x4, now it has a 700r4 and I love it!

Re: 62 burb 4x4
The clutch might be hydraulic in the burb, so that might make driving a bit easier.
