when tight is too tight
so i pulled the carb. off of my '84 2wd shortbox tonight as it is due to be rebuilt...after removing the carb. i found that the vac. port that screws into the intake is split from....you guessed it...over torquing!! (muddering a few words) it drives me crazy when something is cranked in or on WAY too much...

Re: when tight is too tight
Could it have been broken when the motor was installed?
