Project Jimbotronic
Been a member of the board for quite some time, started this project back in early 2004 - finally got it back on the road a few months ago. Still have alot of stuff to do... hook up the ac and radio, figure why my fuel gage isn't working...etc etc. All said it's been really nice getting to drive again but the best was yesterday - I took my four year old for a ride for the first time, went up the road aways (away from mommy's line of sight) and did a lil burn out for him - he was ecstatic...

Re: Project Jimbotronic
I'm calling a foul! You can not tell us it's a project then not even give up a chance to talk junk about what you are doing before you spend 3-4 yrs building it
Very sharp looking truck, nice job! Kevin LFD Inc. Last edited by Rokcrln; 03-28-2009 at 10:23 PM. |

Re: Project Jimbotronic
The truck has turned out very nice. All that work you did, and we didn't even get to watch it through the years. And great minds must think a like, i want to paint my interior the same color to offset the blue interior pieces.

Part of the lapse had to do with funding - I did the complete tear down and then all the chasis and engine stuff. It sat for a couple years before I could afford to have a respectible body shop do the body. I'm not scared, I'd dable in body work if I had a place to do it - it just makes to big a mess in a home garage to do it. Thanks for the Kudos
