Original ride height?
Does anyone know the measurement from the center of the axel to the top of the wheel arch? I've seen measurements of 32"/front & 34"/ back as measured to the ground, but that is assuming stock wheels and tires.

Early Classic claims their 6" drop rear coil will leave 3" between the frame and axle tube. From that statement I assume that a new stock height coil would be in the area of 9" between the frame and axle tube. No idea what the front would be.
You're on the right path checking from the center of the wheel to the fender lip. That's the only way to get a good mesurement that disallows tire size variances. |

I actually did this a couple months ago and wrote it all down.
For the front I have ~31-3/4" up front from the ground to the wheel lip and ~18-1/2" from the center of the wheel to the fender lip. For the rear I have ~33-7/8" and ~19-3/4" respectively. They varied a little from side to side so I took the average of the two front and two rear measurements to get what I posted.
