"Price is Firm but money talks... A classic chevy is going for well over $12,000 in restored condition."
Yes, if you put twelve grand into this Major POS it would be a true classic. (Guy's got to be a crack dealer)

If he is a crack dealer, I think he spent too much time sampling his own product!!!

Re: One hell of a deal, no?
It could be worth 12k if it had 12k glued to the hood.
Im not sure about you guys, but I've seen trucks in my area for about half the price with V8's. |

Re: One hell of a deal, no?
First of all, the truck is a base model with no options and it appears every panel needs work. It isn't worth more than $500-$600 in my area, even as a titled, licensed runner. Also, they didn't come with an "original rack", so he really thinks he has something, that never even existed.
Secondly, that truck is $15K from being worth $12K. Last edited by LILRED66; 03-30-2009 at 07:36 PM. |

Its a trip because there is a lot of people around here who think sh!t like that is worth what there asking. The only thing I see desirable is the black plates.

Re: One hell of a deal, no?
I mostly blame Barrett Jackson and Mecum auction types for this sort of idiocy.
And maybe the butthead who paid $2+ million for a hemi Cuda. It's Detroit iron. Get over it. |

Re: One hell of a deal, no?
Wow - I'd have only offered the sandwich if it had a hair in it.

I thought you had him with the kitkat! But seriously,I think he was working from the top of the origanal 20' wooden ladder that had come with that origanal rack and he fell(thank god his melon broke his fall)!

Re: One hell of a deal, no?
Yep - didn't take that fact into consideration. Now it fits.
