where to buy 14bff rebuild kit

I just bought a 14 bolt ff and dana 44 from a 3/4 ton chevy. Dont know what year as they are out of the truck already. My question is where is a good place to buy rebuild kits for these axles, also will have to relocate spring perches and shock mounts so where is a good place to find those also? These are going into my 67 GMC 3/4 ton project. Thanks for any help!

www.drivetrainspecialists.com

Been buying parts from them for 25 years with no problems and excellent prices.

Re: where to buy 14bff rebuild kit

It "depends" upon what you are calling "rebuild" kit? What parts are you looking to service? If you are just talking about brakes/wheel bearings/etc. you can probably get that kind of thing locally just as easily as anything else...
If you are talking about "internally", you may need to step back and evaluate things a bit more first. You cannot simply disassemble the differential (ring/pinion) and replace the bearings. It is just not that easy.....Besides, if the bearings are that worn, the gears are in bad shape too....and that is a fairly major thing.

Re: where to buy 14bff rebuild kit

As I said these are from a salvage yard , I know very little about there condition and want to rebuild them completely. But when I said rebuilt kit I meant internally as these are the only "kits" I know of. I am not new, have been building cars for 15 years, so I know what has to get done when swap out gears. I was looking for advice on where to buy an master rebuild kit, gears are fine wont be replacing those.
