Rack and Pinion on a stock cross member?

Has anyone ever done this? Is it possible to fab mounts for a rack on a stock member? Pics anyone? I've been searching and haven't found anything.

Here's another one I found. It's on a '73-'87, but of course we know that is essentially the same.

this one appears to be mounted too high, seems that bump-steer will be bad with it....
