Installed the overdrive transmission today

Well, I installed the Saginaw w/the Borg Warner overdrive today. It is a direct bolt in-no mods needed. I did change the 7 bolt side cover from my old Saginaw so I could use the backup light swich. I'm in the process of wiring the unit up. I installed the overdrive control cable, but realized it is too short, I bought it off ebay a few years back, so I suppose it will go back on ebay. I'll start looking for another one (unless CG wants to sell me the one out of his '69 - wink, wink). Here's a few pics. The first one is of the kickdown switch bracket that I had to fabricate for the 250.
BTW, That last pic is the Fel-Pro gasket kit for the Saginaw 3 spd. unit. It does not include the overdrive gaskets.

Boy, that is a nice clean installation you got there!

Have you road tested it yet? How does it work?

Wow, thats really clean. Ill try to make some time to take my cable off so I can get you a measurement.

Im afraid I cant let the cable go. If I ever decided to get rid of the overdrive its worth more as a complete assembly.
