That would be a real heart breaker if you had to sell. Hope things turn around for you. Good luck.

Re: I hate to do it...but might have too.....
I really can't help with the price, I have no clue what 60-66 trucks go for, but I'd like to help with some advise on the house.
My wife and I just went through all of this (and we're still not out of the woods, we don't close until the 29th!) Whatever money you have for a down payment, the bank wants to see it all in "one place" for at least 60 days before you pre qualify for your loan. I thought that was really stupid, but we barely squeeked by with ours. Unless your debt is really high to where it's affecting your credit score, don't pay it off! I made this mistake. I paid off our wedding bands (we got really $ ones) last month and I've been trying to pay off my S-10, thinking, it would be great to be debt free when we buy the house, the only problem was that the bank also wants to see that you have at least 2 months mortgage AND enough to cover closing costs at the time you apply for your loan. Because my wife and I did a 60 day closing, we BARELY had enough money to show all of that. Had I not paid all that stuff off, we would have easily had the $. If they would look at how much you have right before you close, we'd be totally fine (we should have over $4,500 left in the bank at closing) but because they look at all the numbers long before closing, it's a good idea to have as much $ in the bank as possible. Then, after you close, pay everything off Sorry that got long.

Sorry you may have to sell your truck. Hope things work out for you where you can keep it.

Re: I hate to do it...but might have too.....
I`ll trade my house for it.
I`d wouldn`t swap the trans if you`re selling. The o/d is a plus to more than that super cool fantastic 4spd that I would rather have in it just like you. But,you can also sell that thing for more than the 700R4.I`ll start the guesstimating at $6,500?Don`t hurt me if I`m way off. It`s a solid body w/nice mechanicals.I can`t remember everything about it. C`mon guys, stick your neck out.
