Did he get the brackets that go inside the bed wall for the spare tire carrier? If not, he should go back to the seller and get those - it's borderline worthless without them.

Here's a thread with instruction sheets showing the brackets inside the bedwalls. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=316273

Re: Spare tire carrier and tow hooks that my bro bought today

Bouncytruck- He told me earlier this morning that everything was included. I check with him later. Thanks for looking out. We really don't know how it installs on to the blazer he got earlier this year. Anybody got pics as to how it mounts up to the blazer?

Does anybody know for sure if the tow hooks are the correct style for our trucks/blazers? He was told that they came off a '72 CST Blazer.

Ask lks dcvn to send you a copy of the instruction sheet.

Here's the only pictures I have of mine on this computer.

The tow hooks are 72 only. They will fit other years, but are 72. The hooks are worth more than what he paid. Good score!

So are you going to mount the hooks, or just try to resell them?

Re: Spare tire carrier and tow hooks that my bro bought today

Thanks everyone for the quick responses! My bro originally wanted to resell the tow hooks but I talked him out of it. Since his blazer originally came with them on, I told him to mount them back on. Bouncytruck thanks for the visual help! We really had no clue as to mount the spare tire carrier but now we do! Thanks again everyone!

Are the tow hooks the so-called "extreme bend hooks"?

Those are the extreme bends. Both styles could be had in 72, but the extreme bends were a 72 only thing. Somewhere in the FAQ i have a pic with the styles and years.
