Not really, I've been told by a few people that "My dad (or grandpa, uncle, brother, etc) used to have a 79 that looked just like yours."

That's pretty cheap.

Obviously she (assume it's a she) has no clue what it is... might be a good project on the cheap!

Re: Someone might want to check this out in OREGON

If "SHE" is selling it then it maybe one of those grudge things against her ex!! My buddy picked up a 68 chevy II that way for 500$. We put some tires on it and pulled it up on the trailor and got it home and popped the hood and low and behold there was an all roller 427 with aluminum heads pushing close to 700 horses under the hood. Apparently after talking to her after that it was her car but her boyfriend had been fixing it up for himself. He had not gotten to the body work other than to put it in primer and it had no wheels on it it was sitting on blocks. She threw him out and had no idea what all he had done to the car and didnt care.

Uncover that tarp and you may find a nice interior with bucket seats, tilt column, A/C, am/fm radio... or not. maybe they meant it was primered in the 80's ?

Hmmm...I am going to have to replace my rusty bed at some point, but don't really want to have to buy an entire truck to do it.
