'67 mirror hole location -
I am going to mount a stock mirror on the passenger side of my '67 but I'm not sure of the placement. I know that with the sport mirrors, the passenger side is mounted about an inch back from the driver's side location, but how how the earlier mirrors? This is a picture of the stock location for the driver's side - does anyone have a picture of where the passenger side is mounted from the factory, or the measurement?

Re: '67 mirror hole location -
I mounted mine in the same locations on both sides. I was unaware there was a difference? You sure about that? The Red/White 67-72 assembly manual I used didn't show a difference that I saw. Now I'm going to have to find my book and look

Re: '67 mirror hole location -
I don't *think* it is moved on the old base model 67 - 70 mirrors. The passenger side has a longer arm to compensate for the lack of visibility on them. (the wing vent frame blocks the mirror if the arm is short like on the dvr one)

Re: '67 mirror hole location -
Wow, Andy, you're right - I just looked at the arms, and the passenger side is roughly an inch longer than the driver's side. I'm gonna go ahead and mount it in the same place - thanks for your help!

Re: '67 mirror hole location -
if I had a door with stock holes on the passenger side, I'd check.
