Wiper Motor Wiring?
I installed my wiper motor and armature tonight, and was going to wire it all up when I realized I have an aftermarket harness and switch, and no idea what goes where. Any ideas? Thanks!

How many wire terminals do you have? Mine has two, I believe i have power in one side and a switch to ground on the other... Flip the switch and the wipers go...

Here is a link to the wiring diagram, the wiper motor wiring is on the upper left in the diagram. It is in post 104 and is labeled bulkhead 1. The stock colors are dark blue, light blue, yellow and black.

Mine has 4 terminals, plus that integrated washer pump setup that has another two (but I won't be using that one).
VetteVet, thanks for the diagram, it helps a bit, but the problem I'm having is I'm using a hot-rod style wiring harness (one wire for wipers), a hot-rod style switch (only has an in and an out) and a stock wiper motor. I messed with it today, but I can't figure out which terminal does what.

Here is a website with a diagram of the later motors which sounds like what you have. It describes where the terminals are on the motor if you have the round motor or the rectangular one. Keep in mind that the motor is hot wired and switched on the ground side. If you can determine which terminal is the hot then you can test the motor on the bench and switch it through the ground terminals. It sounds like you will need to either get a one speed motor, or a two speed switch. I guess you could have two toggle switches or use a double pole double throw toggle for the high and low speeds.

Well, it works! Since I have a one speed switch, just wired it this way (High only). Tell me if this makes sense:
-Fused ignition-powered wire to bottom terminal of motor. -Motor grounded to firewall -Wire on #3 terminal of motor to "In" switch on terminal. -"Out" terminal on switch grounded. It works on High, which is all I need really, but is it correct?

It sure sounds correct for your purposes. If you didn't get a spark or blow a fuse when you hooked the hot wire to the bottom terminal then it has to be correct because all the others should be Grounds for the different speed windings. to check this you could use an ohmmeter and measure between the three terminals and the motor body and they should all read zero except the hot one and it will have a reading of less than 100 ohms. I'm guessing on that but it should be whatever the winding resistance is on the motor. If you check between the hot and the other two terminals you should get a little resistance on the high speed and more yet on the low speed.
If this checks out then you could move the no. 3 terminal to one of the other two and see if the speed slows. I hope this makes sense.
