shock question...
I am doing a 2.5 spindle, 5 coil drop on my 72...I do have an adjustable panhard bar...will I need to do anthing with the shocks..

Yes, you definitely will need the shock relocator brackets with a 5'' drop. As for the shocks themselves, I would recommend a shock for lowered applications for the valving, but the stockers will physically work.

Good question, I have the same, 63 longbed, 5" drop coils, not yet got the shocks, I really wanted air adjustable as i sometimes tow a caravan, looks like im going to have my shocks made to order from Spax (uk)
Any other ideas, ?? |

Yes you need new shocks. They will most likely bottom out on the down side. I run the toxic drop shocks on mine. I have a 2/4 and my stockers did not work. The toxics were not the most expensive, but they are firm but not to much and overall ride quality is good.

I've run stock shocks on the rear down to a 6 inch drop. But, when I bought the shock relocator kit from Early Classics and their KYB shocks, the ride improved significantly.
Mainly, the shock relocator kit makes the shocks more vertical, which is how they work best.
