Which wheels?

I'm still undecided on which wheels I want, but I have narrowed my choices to these two. Which do you like better? I borrowed these pics from another member, but my truck is very similar. 17" TT2s or 17" Cragar 390s?

Thumbs up Re: Which wheels?

Purely subjective, but to my eye, it's no contest... TT2s look much better.

I like 'em both. Sorry that doesn't help. If I had to choose, I would go with the TT2s

Re: Which wheels?

i like that both, but i think the TT2s seem a little bit more common, ive never seen the 390s before.
if it was me i'd say the cragers, i like to be unique.

I agree, I like the Cragars because they are unique, and chrome (no polishing). I don't care for the spinners, but I can get them without spinners. I can also get them in the size/backspace that I want, and they are relatively inexpensive at $227 each. They are a knockoff of the Halibrand "sprint", just cheaper. I love the TT2s and I already have a set but they don't have the backspace that I really want, and they are getting pretty common.

Re: Which wheels?

I'd actually have to agree Wynne.... I'm leaning towards the Cragar's mainly due to the amount of TTII's on the road today.

Cragar's get my vote!

BTW... have some of the photoshop guru's work on their magic on your truck. I have had them do a few things for me and it has saved me a lot of money by see it before I buy it, so to speak.

Good luck with the choice!

Re: Which wheels?

I agree with several of the above: I really like the TT2s, but it seems like everyone now has a set of them. I would go with the Cragars!

Re: Which wheels?

I think that the TT2's look better, until they are on the truck. personaly I think the rounded shape of the spokes on the craigers looks much better with the body lines of the truck. on top of that the taper of the spokes mimics the spear tip of the side trim. They also imediately say classic to anyone who even has the slightest interest in old cars and trucks.

Re: Which wheels?

Based on the fact that everywhere we look these days there's a set of Torque Thrust II's or Coys which are very similar I would go with the Cragars because they fit the style of these trucks well and the prices are nice too. It's tough though because I have always thought the Torque Thrust were some of my favorite wheels of all time!
