what color should i paint my motor
wondering what color i should paint my motor. my truck is a burnt copper color. i've got the polished intake, valve cover, air cleaner, alternator bracket, timing cover, fuel pump, and have the braided lines with the red/blue clamp covers. i'm ordering a polished water pump also.

Re: what color should i paint my motor
Same color as the truck would look clean, can you post a pic of your truck so we can see the color?

If you are painting the entire engine bay the same color as the truck I would go with black or silver.

Re: what color should i paint my motor
I vote for Gray as a engine color. But I have used black with great results.
This is what my engine looks like in gray.

Re: what color should i paint my motor
I would go Silver to match the accessories or go with the same color as the lettering on the hood . It would be just a little different .
Looks good ! Frank

Re: what color should i paint my motor
My vote would be silver or black.
Not body color or orange, and I only say that because of all the copper you already have in teh engine bay.

Re: what color should i paint my motor
They only came stock in three colors...orange, blue, and black. Pick one, and I'm sure the results will be fine with all that bling you have there.
