I want to put air bag suspension on my 62. But i do not want to use my old lower control arms incase i ever want to switch back in the future. Plus i can't get the torsion bars out anyways. I will have so set up some sort or bracket on the lower control arms to hold in the bag. Not in a rush for the lower control arms at the moment but i would like to get some soon and have them ready for use.

Question?????????????????? would 64-66 a-arms work?? I have a 65 suburban and a 62 suburban.............I'll go look and measure and see............The newer a-arms would have the lower spring bracket to put your airbag on................

Exclamation

I also thought of that to i have a 64 front suspension assembly. But no the control arms are different. The 60-62 are straight and the 63-66 curve up near the tip part where the ball joint goes. Not sure if they would "actually bolt on" they might but your whole alignment would be way off..to much to even re-align i would guess.
