Door Weatherstrip for a 63
My truck is in paint jail right now and after looking at the door weatherstrip from LMC that I put in about four years ago I wondered if I could find better quality. I'm not trying to spend big bucks, just seeing what's out there. The LMC stuff does not have metal inside the channel that you push over the metal lip on the door opening so I had to glue it in. Does anyone make some that do or is that standard for these trucks?

Re: Door Weatherstrip for a 63
deryl, I also replaced the door weatherstripping on my '60 with LMC stuff and glued it on, but the original weatherstripping was also glued on too. I think that might be how these trucks came.

Re: Door Weatherstrip for a 63
Thanks Corts60. That is all I've seen. At least in internet catalogs. By the way, my bro-in-law is a coastie too. He gets his commission next month after being a non-com for about 15 years. Then he is off to Kodiak Alaska.
