Import, 1957 Chrome Grill

I've never seen one yet. What are thoughts on the quality of the chrome import. I can get my original done for around 600. Thanks, Dave......

Do your original. Its cheaper and better provided you use a good chroming Co.

Be sure you trust your chromer. I've had two rechromed. One lefted 2 little dent in it. It was not worth putting back together because of it. The other didn't put much chrome on it. It looked good for a couple months then strarted to rust. Grandpa got his from brothers, It is better than the one dad got from Classic chevy. I've seen them at swap meets, priced from 450-700 some were better that others and price was not what make the differents.OEM (yours rechromed) is the best (if you get a good job) I've got over 1k in a bunch of grill piece. I am running the grill that rust. I leave it parked in side and have to polish the rust off ever time I drive it. I've got the bent peices at a different chrome having it fixed, (or throwing good money after bad)
