Magic Dragon Lake Ozark, MO Coverage
Well thankfully weather forecaster's are never right as they calling for rain today, but as you can guess it was cloudy and no rain fell so it turned out to be a great event. I met up with lolife99 and some of his buddy's and had a great time. Even ran into about 3 other board members while I was there.
Anyway... enough talking, it's time for some pics....

Re: Magic Dragon Lake Ozark, MO Coverage
Check out the air lines this guy used... needless to say that when he would hit the switch it would nearly jump off the ground.

Re: Magic Dragon Lake Ozark, MO Coverage
Hour from me and I am sitting here learning how to strap people to a backboard and put tubes down their mouth. I missed the Jamboree in Springfield this year for the first time out of 10 years.
Man it looks like they filled the whole Strip up. |

Re: Magic Dragon Lake Ozark, MO Coverage
Looks like you had a great time and there was quite the variety of vehicles there.
I don't know if I'd a tried that truck dash swap on the Chevelle convertible or not.... That caddy really moved me brother! |

Re: Magic Dragon Lake Ozark, MO Coverage
It's a shame that on the same weekend every year there is a 4x4 truck show 70 miles from there that draws from 700-1000 trucks every year. I wish they would move the magic dragon back a couple of weeks, being that it rains nearly every year. Very good show.

Re: Magic Dragon Lake Ozark, MO Coverage
The stip is probably close to a mile long and 3 lanes. They are parked on both sides wherever they can find a spot and even up the middle lane.

Re: Magic Dragon Lake Ozark, MO Coverage
Lots of good looking cars and trucks Nate,, Say !
Do you know the history on that old Ford truck in your first picture? Another story from old papa here so beware if you dont like stories..LOL When I was 17-18 I worked at a rock crusher close to Bald Knob Arkansas ..An old man about my age owned a brand new ford truck like that one and he ran the shovel at the rock pit.. I was his oiler on the shovel and every Friday he would send me to town ,,Bradford I think and put his check in the bank ,,(back then people trusted people) anyway this truck is just like it ,,maybe not the same year ,, you never know it could of made its way north into Mid-Mo .. So Nate,, just wondering what year it is and something about where it came from.. thx for the pics.. |

Re: Magic Dragon Lake Ozark, MO Coverage
I am guessing that Nate won't be here until later today. This is a two day show and he's probably there taking more pics for us today. I am hoping the rain has or will hold off. Sun is trying to peak out here and I am about 70 miles east of there.
