i need a little bracket help
ok so i got my new 383 friday night pulled the old motor out and put it in and went to put the alternator on tonight and the motor has tall valve covers and a shot water pump with power steering. so the alt. hits the valve covers and i dont know what to do. the alt is on the drivers side and i really want to have it running for this weekend. can i switch it to long pump and then what do i do with my power steering? any help would be great thanks.

Probably will need all different belt pulleys to accomodate the long pumpand steering pump. Check the salvage yard tell them what you are doing . They may have the exact stuff ya need for the switch! my .0002%
