Finally bothered to get my new engine's block ID
V0528CNV
a 1970 350, originally mated to a 2bbl and a powerglide in a Caprice. Yay for year authenticity, I guess. |

Re: Finally bothered to get my new engine's block ID
The engine in my '71 lwb stepper is from a '70 Chevelle, it is a 350 with a 4 barrel quad.
It is stock and runs great. I wonder how many others have car engines. A 4 bolt main truck engine is pretty rare around these parts. Danny

Site:
http://www.nastyz28.com/sbchevy/sblock.php In short, the last 4 letters tell you the thing to lookup there. the first letter is site, and the next four are month/day. The last 3 is the block ID. Last edited by chrislehr; 05-06-2009 at 06:21 PM. |
