Hey guys, has any one used the rear set of holes on the frame rails to mount their engine, i used them on mine with a sbc, and was wondering if there was any clearance issues with the firewall at all, the truck is not together yet. i have the cpp towers and and the corresponding engine mounts, not the originals or the later models, i believe they are mid 70s camaro. anyhow. any pics of the engine set back or what not. thanks

There really isn't a problem with the "originals" although the engine sits pretty close to the firewall. If you have an HEI dist. the back tower boot might lightly rub but it shouldn't be enough to hurt anything. I know this isn't exactly what you are asking but I'm not familiar with the CPP parts. Anyway, this will get your post back to the top and maybe someone will see it that actually knows.
