Newbie here.....
I have a 72 c-10 i am fixing up my doors are rusty on the bottom so my body man recomended me finding some used rust free OEM doors.I found a couple shells local for $300 each but they had some rust on bottom but none or bubbles on the outside.I also looked at a couple that had rust holes in the outside complete with glass vent window etc for $150 each.I watch Craigslist and i found a guy with lots of parts that had some shells without rust for $150 so thinking this is a super deal i drive 176 miles and buy 5 of them to make my trip worthwhile. Now i wish i had never made the trip because i paid too much .....
72farmer and from Ohio. As beeen said one needs to be a Site Supporter to post a want to buy (WTB), post a WIW (Whats it worth) for the purpose of selling, and FS (For Sale). For this option as mentioned one needs to be a Site Supporter which is $25 per year which is a real bargin for those who are into 67-72 / trucks. For info to how to become a member hit the "Subscribe" sticky at the top. You will find good and honest deals on this forum when it comes to purchasing and buying truck parts. Also there are lots of guys (me excluded ) who know these trucks inside and out. Best Regards and glad to have you as part of our internet truck family. And yes I agree your name will look much better in blue verses pink. Last edited by 70cst; 05-12-2009 at 10:49 PM. |
