What's it worth?

Hey, I'm looking at a 1972 Super Cheyenne 4x4, 3/4 ton, LWB, 350/350, np205, dana 44, eaton, a/c, power, newer 33's and wheels, new carb, shocks, exhaust and floor covering.
2 tone green/white, 4" lift 110,000 miles on it.
The guy says it's in fair to good shape with some door dings, minor rust on the rockers, cracked dash padding, etc.
It's in central oregon.
What's this thing worth??
Also is there anything in particular I should look for when I take a look at this?
TIA, Dan.

Get the local Truck Trader and compare prices. There are lots of trucks in the NW for sale and the range of prices is pretty wide. It all depends upon the condition. Look for rust on the rockers, cab corners, kick panels, vents, cab supports, windows, floors and bottoms of the doors and fenders. Look at the inner fenders especially the passenger side under the battery and the core support. If that does not scare you...look at the box and decide how much money it is worth to you! This is not a rare truck and there are still 100's-1000's still driving around the Northwest.

4x4

I have seen a 72 CheyenneSuper 4x4 sell for over 30 grand restored.I personaly own one "Big Blue" that is a loaded rust free California truck.I have had many serious offers for mine obove 10 grand and it needs fresh paint and carpet. If you are mechanically inclined and can do some of the repairs yourself trucks in this condition can be a good deal.If not an you have to pay for someone eleses labor it can get expensive.Mine is like money in the bank to me .I can make one phone call and sell it in less than 24hrs for more than I have invested.Standing offer from collector. It has been a good investment for me and I get to drive my investment.
