Dallas Truckfest today
Did anyone go to the Dallas Truckfest Saturday? If so, what kind of deals were there to be had? It appears that there can be some bargains and it's on today from 11 to 5.

Re: Dallas Truckfest today
So I went and there were some good deals. Numerous manufacturers are present selling at discounted rates. Suspension, tires, wheels, winches, bumpers....you name it and they are there.
i bought a 60" Hi-Lift jack for $56. As I walked out they were selling 8000lb Warn winches for $349. I saw several pickups leave with their beds full of stuff! I will have to remember this for next year after my "Stimulus Package" kicks in. |

Can't climb eh? Good stuff!
You are moving to a haven of lifted trucks! I am not sure what the laws are but you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a lifted F250 or Silverado! You can get your truck licensed as a "Farm Truck" and I assume they have different rules... Sorry I don't know more. |

Re: Dallas Truckfest today
In counties around Dallas and Houston, if your car is 2 to 25 years old, you have to be tested. If it's older than 25 years, you don't have to. So yeah, need the sticker if less than 25. Only if you reside in these counties though..

Re: Dallas Truckfest today
It's a pretty large metropolitan area so if you keep your eyes open, you may find what you need on Craig's List. There's a front clip from a GMC on it right now. The grill is painted unfortunately or I would have probably bought it. $400....
