Texas New Guy With A 62 GMC 4x4

I just bought a 1962 GMC 4x4 that I will need help with. Over all it's in good shape but I want to add power steering, power brakes, and do something with the gears. I been reading this sight a getting some excellent ideas but now I have to start acting. My truck has the 305 V6 that I want to keep, I just want to make it a little more highway drivable (go over 60mph).
