TH400 Fitting Size
Having another issue with what is suppose to be there and reality. I am trying to hook up my remote trans cooler using stainless braided hose and AN fittings. That part is fine BUT I need the fitting that screws into the trans case itself to adapt to a 6AN fitting. I bought the AN fitting I was told would work which was a 1/4'' NPT to 6AN. My problem is it will not screw into the existing brass fitting that is on the trans. Does that fitting need to come out of the trans?? I just realized that maybe the brass fitting should be removed?? Does anyone have a pic of what this should look like or can they tell me if I am just loosing it?
