Why is it so hard to find a simple piece?
In trying to clean up the look under my hood I would love to replace the now brown 38 year old antifreeze overflow resevouir with a new one, cant seem to find one in LMC, unless I have overlooked it a dozen times! Customer suport was no help either. This seems like such a simple little piece that I shouldnt have this hard of a time finding one!

Re: Why is it so hard to find a simple piece?
You cant find it because there wasn't one from the factory normally.
Hose ran down the side of the radiator, spit overflow on the ground.

Re: Why is it so hard to find a simple piece?
Well I supose that makes sense why I cant find one then! It sure looked like it belonged there fit perfect with the contours on the inner fender! Guess if I want something clean looking I will have to improvise and the PO aparently did.

Re: Why is it so hard to find a simple piece?
GMC406, post a picture of it. Chances are someone here will know what it came from originally, and then you can order a new one for that car/truck.
The washer bottles to make good overflow cans too.

Re: Why is it so hard to find a simple piece?
Here are some pics. It fits nicely on the drivers side inner fender, not far at all from the windshild washer tank.

Re: Why is it so hard to find a simple piece?
look carefully for a part number on it. It looks like to me that is is from a Ford, and they are usually pretty good about a part number. If I am correct their number usually in in a couple of letters. IE: AA AB BB that kind of thing. The Corona bottle is pretty cool though!
