I wonder why Stacey didn't use Barrett-Jackson since he donated money to charity when he sold it...

Good question!

It's one helluva truck, just don't understand why someone would want to sell it after just buying it.

My guess is that he doesn't like Barrett-Jackson like most of us...

Seems a shame though, If you buy something like that you should keep it.

Re: Copperhead on ebay

i still dont like the thing always thought he cheesed it up in alot of ares like the insanely highback seats yuck just my opinion tho, i think ur buying a $30,000 truck and the rest is all just paying for prestige of owning something like that, also i just noticed that the winning bidder and the sellers names dont match???

Re: Copperhead on ebay

That is odd....

HOWEVER, if you check out the sellers feedback it shows he got feedback for buying a "C-10" on march 25 and the item # matches the item # to the link I posted and it's 10 days after that auction ended...

http://feedback.ebay.com/ebaymotors/...eedbackAsBuyer

Crap, that didn't work. Click on "see detailed feedback" then click on the tab "feedback as a buyer."

Re: Copperhead on ebay

All that truck is is a bunch of donated aftermarket parts thrown together on TV to build a truck to give the parts manufacturers publicity and advertising.

I mean, look at it, everything that could be bought mail order was used. It should be called a manufacturers showcase truck.

That truck may be famous due to the TV, but there are several members here who have nicer trucks. Maybe not as famous, but nicer.

Re: Copperhead on ebay

Yeah your right TX but usually when joint companies get together to build something like this on TV get gets shown for a while then it ends up getting crushed like some of other early Trucks Projects because of all the aftermarket accessories wouldnt make it street legal which Stacey David stepped in and said he would never build something that would end up getting crushed again. This truck was one of the first projects after he did that. Which he build this truck as an alternative to muscle cars and hot rods which is a good route to go as we all know because the parts are easy to find and there not to over priced *cough* yearone *cough*. This project made me fall in love with the 67-72 Chevy & GMC bodystyle which lead to me buying my own 72 GMC just a month after graduating high school. So i owe David and everybody involved thanks for building a beautiful truck and chosing the 67-72 chevy bodystyle. MAN i wish i had the money to take it home!!

Re: Copperhead on ebay

There are three things that I would change in that truck
* The Color ( Just not a fan of that color)
* The seats ( The headrest does not look proportioned)
* the Wheels ( Many nicer wheels available)

Other than that it is a super nice truck....

Re: Copperhead on ebay

I never liked the seats they installed. Our trucks look better with seats that dont have head rests in my opinion i guess because they come that way from the factory and dont take away from the look of the rear window.
