no more 2wd to 4wd
ive decided to be content with my 2wd and install a locker for traction aid what do ya'll recommednd i know this is 4x4 section but i need help
i have a 2wd 2 door silverado with 4.3 and auto trans

I'd go with a posi. It will be easier on the tires when you're are the street

I would look at doing an Eaton E-Locker or Detroit Electrac. These units are positractions. The Eaton is a clutch type and the Detroit a gear drive Tru-Trac type. Then you push a button and they are truly and completey locked. The best of both IMO. Another option would be an Ox Locker, but I like the others better for a streeter, especially a 2x4.
Edit: the Auburn Ected is another choice for a limited slip & then locker with the push of a button
