NOS value?

I found some more NOS stuff just curious what the value of some stuff would be. I have not bought this stuff yet so its not for sale.
1) Complete long wheel base woodgrain lower molding and upper molding, it looks like it has most the original wrappers still on it
2) woodgrain tailgate chevy band in box
3) outer 71-72 grill, no box though
4) 69-72 chevy radiator support
This all NOS stuff, any help is appreciated
Thanks Randy

Re: NOS value?

Randy, after looking back at some prices I paid nearly 8 years ago for the stuff I bought for my 71, here goes and this might be a little low on a piece or two:
Upper and lower chrome- woodgrained $1800 to $2000 for complete set- new repop runs about $600 for all. I paid our buddy Roger $1200 for swb stuff then.
Grill shell- $500- $600
Tailgate band- Repop is around $170, so NOS in box should be about $300.
Core support should be about $400 to $500, last one I bought when working at dealership was $250 or so, I think- I would have to pull reciepts.

Randy,... I would be interested in the woodgrain tailgate band if you ever determine a price.

Re: NOS value?

Complete side mouldings...$1,500+
Tailgate band..................$300+
Grille shell.......................$500+
Core support...................$400+

Those are minimum prices, but pretty much what you`ll get today, unless a crazy auction.

Re: NOS value?

IMO, the tailgate band is the rarest peice. I paid $375.00 for a NOS (boxed) back 2002. I haven't seen but a few since. I would have to say around $400-600 for that peice, in excellent condition. As for the 68 NOS fenders, wow, might have to dig my set out and advertise!

keep me in mind on the core support.

Re: NOS value?

NOS typically brings 2-3x repop depending on quality of repop. Saw a door in charlotte for $1500. Guess I should advertise my Blazer bedside skins!!! I would really check close as I one bought a "nos" tailgate new takeoff--it was stored on it's end in a garage for 35 years--when I got it home and cleaned it up, I found the rust thru!!

Re: NOS value?

Thanks guys, we are having trouble getting together on a price, he's 4 hours from me so I really don't want to make a trip till I get better pics and a complete list of what he has. He has just sent me a a few pics and they were not that good. I've asked for more info from him. Thanks Randy

Re: NOS value?

Well I guess this was a waste of time, the guy won't take anymore pics for me and won't go through what he has to tell me what all is there. Its going to be hard for him to sell not doing that, IMO. All he sent me in pics was a couple boxes of NOS parts, the pic of the grill, and the tailgate band (it looks like its been mounted unfortunately). I've asked for pics and a list but he said he can't do that and told me if I was interested I needed to drive and look at in person. I think he was high on his price anyway. Sorry for rambling, some guys just rub me the wrong way. Randy

Re: NOS value?

Prob. better that you could not make a deal. Sometimes things like that work out the way they do for a reason. As you well know there will be others
