Fan Shroud ID
How can I tell the difference between a v6 or a Big block fan shroud. Can't find any numbers on it .

One way is to measure the distance between the upper mount bolt holes.. the Big block one is the same width as a small block.. the V6 one is approx 2 inches narrower.
there is a part number on them but usually hard to read.. its on the face of the lip on the round part of the shroud, towards the engine. |

Like Livrat already said above, the p/n should be molded into the outer lip of the shroud (area circled in blue). The p/n 3924932 is the correct for 396/402 V-8's, and the V-6 shrouds have the p/n 3903752 molded in the same location.
