Re: What the .....

"ready for paint" if you use rustoleum.... what is weird about that front end.. other than lights bumper and grille? sounds high to me but someone might be able to make a truck out of it by puting correct box and front pieces on it.

I'm also included in this statement so I feel I can say it without sounding too mean....Some people should leave vehicle designing to the professionals.

Re: What the .....

I have the ugly twin to that, but it is primer gray and white.

I did not realize it was worth so much, lol.

Mine is a '67 with a '96 box and is the result of two guys, my son and I, having nothing better to do and a lot of old parts trucks.

I wonder how many year vehicles it took to make his, mine has 6 different year trucks as close as I can tell. It makes it fun when trying to find repair parts.

I am using it around the farm which frees up my '71 to be restored.

Re: What the .....

Truthfully, I find it more interesting than the white one for 25K in the other thread. And one of my buddies would go ape over it as it is just his style with the square lights and late bed.

It may not be everyone's cup of tea but I think that someone with a bit of skill and some time could make a decent truck out of it.

At any rate I could put a metalflake paint job on it and velvet seat in it and get a fortune for it here in the area where I live.

Re: What the .....

Even if it was in mint condition I don't like new beds on old trucks.

Re: What the .....

So newer front end, newer bed, newer suspension, wtf wouldn't you just buy a newer model truck? I hope it was a bigger pos when he started if not...what a waste!

Re: What the .....

I love it when people put in their ads "ready for paint" ,and "body is straight".
Most people have no clue how much work is involved in accomplishing either one of those statements propperly.
