Has anyone bought new glass for your hardtop recently? I've been trying to get an online quote to see what new would cost, but I'm not having any luck finding anyone that even has any. I'd like to get new dark glass for the side windows and rear window. Jeff.

I've never bought any myself, but check with a local glass shop. They cut to fit & installed on site such for a loader at my work.

Ya, I was thinking that might be the only way to get it. No one seems to have them sitting in the warehouse.

I've only heard of guys getting it cut at the glass shops. It's all flat glass so it should be fairly easy. You could contact Wes at Classicheartbeat and see if he as access to any pre-cut.

Ya I may check with him when I get back to the states. Not any real rush right now. Just easier to spend the money while here as the little woman doesn't know anything about it!!

True dat. He doesn't have it either and said as far as he knows, you have to have it cut. Sounds like a project for xmas time when I'll be indoors anyway.

I transfer in November if the Navy finds some money to do it. Still waiting on the orders.

Jaros, I'm looking to get some dark glass instead of the original. My side windows are good, just want to get that dark sunglass look going.

I do like tint, but I did the windows in my pickup and realized that I don't have the touch. It looks like jojo the carnival idiot did it. Thanks for the offers by the way, always appreciate that.

Get them professionally tinted. It will be cheaper than getting new glass and seals.

Ya, depending on the cost, that might be the way to go. I already have all new seals for the top. The old ones were dry rotted.
