Grease for latches and hinges hanging a door

Been a long time since I hung a door, any tips? Also would like to know what would be a good grease for new latches and hinges?

Re: Grease for latches and hinges hanging a door

Never mind the grease I found the answer in white lithium, but now I'm gonna hijack my own thread and ask about the hinge pins, specifically the rebuild kit I got from www.classicparts.com years ago. The pins seem like they are too long for the hinge which is an easy fix. The bushing, I already know I'm gonna have to drill out the hinge a little. Would it be better for me to drill the entire hole out the same size as the bushing or just drill it out for the bushing to fit? Gonna dig my little sandblaster out of storage and blast the hinges first.....
