Suspension drop requires less work. To channel your body, you'd probably have problems with driveshaft clearance, proper steering column angle, radiator clearance, engine to hood clearance. I don't know this for sure, it's just some things I'd be worried about.

That one is pretty mild on the drop,3/5 on suspension,& just 1 1/2" on the body. It was a lot of work, but the end result gives a 4 1/2/6 1/2" total drop, with no road rash on the bottom pcs. Radiator clearance was no trouble, after the frame horns were dropped 1 1/2,the rad was raised back up,& it all cleared. The frame brackets were moved down for the cab,& a strip cut out of the floor from the "toe board to the seat area for the frame to stick through. this area was then boxed,& welded(a little extra padding under the carpet hides the bump). The steering column did require a little adjustment on the angle. The drive shaft should clear on a minor drop, but you may have trans clearance issues(I would suggest using a high hump trans tunnel),my trans tunnel has been reworked,& there a couple small notches on the back wall of the cab for frame clearance. Out back , the mount lip was cut off the box sides, moved up,& welded back on. The box front panel was shortened,& re folded,& there was a little trim work at the rear box cornerposts. Finally the rear bumper was set up with dropdown brackets, to get the proper height. Good luck..........69longhorn
