Air Ride Technologies front shock setup

This is the kit that ART sells to complement their front Strong Arm tubular arms. They are perfect for bagged trucks or extremely low trucks that need some extra shock travel. They will work with stock arms. Includes two upper mounts and two brand new shocks.

$100 or best offer plus shipping.

Are these new or used? Also, where do the upper mounts mount to? How much shipped to 87107? Thanks

Re: Air Ride Technologies front shock setup

Brand slappin' new. They just came out of the ART packaging for pics, and went right back in. The uppers locate off of the stock shock mounting hole. Instructions are included in the box. I will do $100 shipped in the CONUS.

Re: Air Ride Technologies front shock setup

Pardon my ignorance....but I don't understand. The kit comes with two upper mounts but you said that the uppers locate off of the stock mounting hole. Where do the black plates mount and what mounts to them?

Try and make this easier. Im thinking of running bags with my stock control arms and drop spindles. Do I need this kit? Thanks

Here's a picture that I think will explain it. There are tabs on the new shock mount that help you place it in the correct spot (you have to drill 4 holes to mount it). It uses the old mounting spot as a reference. Clear as mud?
